HOW TO LOCALISE A LABRAL LESION

There are 2 ways to describe where a labral lesion is

  1. QUADRANTS METHOD ( First image): Not really quadrants as there are 5 segments.
    • The Yellow line describes the Equator ( mid way point glenoid)
  2. CLOCKFACE:
    • 3 o’clock is always anterior and 12 o’clock is always superior for BOTH right and left shoulders
